Interlinking the Perspectives of Teacher Training Students in Special Needs Education and Mathematics Didactics as a Contribution to Teacher Training for Inclusive Mathematics Classes: An Intervention Study (...) - Anna-Sophia Bock
Within the context of school inclusion, the diversity of the learning groups and thus the demands on the teachers are expanded. The cooperation of special education and specialist didactics is a central success factor for effective and inclusive education. This results in the relevance of learning opportunities in the education of the students, which are sensitized to dealing with diversity and which enable the collaboration of dormitory students of special education and the regular school teachers.
Against this background, a seminar concept was developed that prepares students for an inclusive mathematics lesson. At both the student level and at the lecturer's level, the seminar pursues a combination of special education and mathematicsdidactics. The concept involves a perspective sharpening, in the form of casework in interdisciplinary student tandems. The seminar is organized in cooperation with Dr. Steffen Siegemund, who examines the students' convictions for cooperation. In the course of the dissertation project by Anna-Sophia Bock, the question is discussed as to how far the beliefs and the situation-specific abilities regarding an inclusive mathematics teaching of the two student groups change during the participation in the developed seminar.
